Hello again, and welcome back to TenPaths Tarot. Today the message is for someone who has had a great emotional pain, a great loss, or a great traumatic event from which they are trying to recover.
And so let’s start out with the recent past. And recent means different things to different people and different situations. We start out with a Ten of Swords. We can tell from the imagery this was very traumatic. But the one good thing with the Ten of Swords, it means something is done–completely done. We have suffered as long as we need to with this situation, with this person, and we are finished.
And following that card, apropos, is the Death card. Now this Death card does not look that ominous, and it shouldn’t. When we see the Death card, that means we have been stuck in a set way of doing things and of thinking about things, but now we are ready to look at the world afresh. We are ready to move forward. We have ended a cycle. We are done. The original message is repeated.
We are moving ahead. Now we have the Three of Swords. Now if this was alone, this would mean terrible heartache. But we already had that. Look now at how much we’ve recovered. We’ve gone from a ten to a three. And at the top of the three, there are butterflies, indicating transformation is taking place. And so we are getting better. Whatever you’ve been doing, it has worked to some degree. And now you’re almost at the point where you’re ready to move forward.
At the end of the recent past, we have the Two of Swords. And this indicates we have to now make an actual decision about which way to go. The only thing is, she still has her eyes covered. She’s not quite sure she’s ready to move forward.
We’re going now into the current energy. And Spirit is saying, “Please move forward. Start afresh.” We have an ace, and the aces are beginnings. This is the Ace of Cups, the Ace of Love, the ace of the things we cherish most, whether that’s other people, our home, our business– whatever we identify with most closely. And that Ace of Cups also represents overflowing life-force energy. So we can move forward with that.
Next, we have built a strong foundation. When we move forward from this kind of energy, we’re trusting in Spirit to guide us. We’re opening our heart back up, including to ourselves– forgiving ourselves for mistakes we might have made. Sometimes we’ve wondered whether we caused the problems we now face. But this isn’t necessarily true. Bad things happen to people, often randomly.
But now we are building a strong foundation. We’ve got the Four of Pentacles. And so things are beginning to get better.
Then things improve even more. We next have The Fool. Even though the number says zero at the top, Fool energy is really good, big energy. But it’s looking at things afresh; looking at things with optimism–thinking “I know things can get better, and I trust that they’ll get better, and I don’t have to anguish over every little thing I might have forgotten.” Look at the little bag The Fool carries on his journey.
And so then we have a cautionary card. And we’re like, “How can it be cautionary? We already had the Ten of Swords, and the Death card, and the Three of Swords. I mean, really? Cautionary?” I’m afraid so. If we do not allow this fresh start–if we do not take care of ourselves to rebuild this life-force energy so that we can restructure our lives—if we do not move forward with faith that things will get better–if we choose to continue dwelling on the past–eventually we’re going to reach an internal breaking point. And sometimes internal breaking points lead to physical breaking points where we just destroy everything we have–we allow our emotions to overtake us so much.
And that is the warning with this Tower card; that even if you say, “I don’t need to change. I don’t need to grow. I am just going to stay where I am,” stagnation is not a possibility. But you have the choice as to which restructuring method you choose. Do you want to cause yourself more trauma? Do you want to become your own traumatic event? Because that is what happens if you choose to dwell on this. And when this occurs, you’re going to have to remake your life anyway.
Spirit is saying, “Take my guidance. Take time to repair.” But with the goal of repair in mind. You can go on a get-away, but only if it’s used constructively—as long as it will not become empty time in which to worry further.
And so that is Spirit’s message today. Please keep moving forward. The way you’re going right now is guiding you toward a constructive release of the past.
And I hope this helps someone out there. Spirit wanted this message out there, and so I am sending it out into the net. And I hope the right person finds it.
Bye for now, and I’ll see you soon.
