Hello Pisces, and welcome back to TenPaths Tarot. Today we have a great reading for you, starting with the oracle card, Maintain Your Childlike Spirit. That’s the kind of card I like! We have a girl and she’s swinging. And she has wings, but they’re down. She doesn’t need to fly. She’s having so much fun right where she is. The world around her looks like winter, but she’s okay with that. She sees only joy; only playfulness.
And so let’s go into your recent energy to see where you’re coming from. And that starts out with the Four of Mirrors. Four is the number of stability. You’re stable; you’re balanced. But that doesn’t mean you are going to swim with the school of fish passing by. You are looking at things in your own unique, childlike way. And that is fine. The mermaid depicted is surrounded by love; by water. But she isn’t going to swim along with the crowd.
The next card shows, however, that she will take some advice from a few trusted friends who can give her wise counsel. She won’t listen to everyone, but she will listen to reason. But she still sees everything in an enthusiastic way. She sees possibilities, and she believes Spirit is guiding her.
So we approach life now with this great enthusiasm. And we are trusting that Spirit is going to guide us in the “right” direction. We’re not sure what “right direction” means. We do see the interconnectedness with everything around us. Everything is possible and everything can work out in a myriad of different ways.
Some people may be thinking, “Well, you must do this. And then you need to do that.” Everything is very methodical. But you are seeing it differently. You’re saying, “I could travel one line of ribbon. But if it’s not going in the right direction, another will intersect with it, and I will simply switch direction.”
We’re now going into your current energy, and we enter with enthusiasm. You have the Nine of Wands, the Nine of Dreams. All of your dreams around you look like real possibilities. You know you may have to just pick up one and start moving ahead. Because you are just so full of life– so full of energy– you just want to get going. Either your own mind or someone you care about is telling you that you are approaching things the wrong way. They say that you need to listen to them! You need to think clearly! You need to think out every aspect of this path you’re on. You must decide beforehand every single step you are to take, or you are doomed!!!
But two cards came out together. One is telling you that Spirit has your back. Spirit will take one of these many dreams you have–and you don’t have to worry about which one–and it will guide it into the right target. It will put it where it needs to go, including into your own heart. Spirit wants you to continue to look at things through this childlike viewpoint.
The Hierophant card is saying there’s a conflict here. When we talk about The Hierophant, we talk about tradition. But here the hierophant is a child, and children have no traditions. They see everything afresh. And so this is telling you to also approach those traditions with a childlike innocence. A child will go, “Why?” Think like a child and, if the rules don’t make sense, don’t follow them. Now that is not an encouragement to anyone who wants to go out and break the law or anything like that. I’m not talking about that kind of extreme. I’m talking about those societal norms that you can break and you will not be arrested. You may be admonished by a few, but all of society is not going to scold you for it. Approach life knowing that. And if you cannot follow the norms you were brought up with, then maybe incorporate some new norms into your life that can broaden the chances of your dreams coming to fruition.
Now we’re at the end of the reading, and often Spirit gives a little caution at the end. So it’s saying you are going on a terrific path. The Ten of Swords cautions us to be careful of giving in to things we don’t believe. Doing that will cause you to look at life negatively. And all of that overthinking will keep you completely frozen. The caution card is not the direction you are currently going, but it is a path you could veer off toward.
