Hello Taurus, and welcome back to TenPaths Tarot.
And so I’m looking at your cards today, and it looks to me as though you’ve been going through a major period of transformation. It’s really good energy. It’s not without some ups and downs, but you’ve been growing steadily.
Let’s look at the oracle cards, and today, Spirit gave us two. The first one is Prophecy. The second card is Communication. Now we could look at these cards a couple of different ways. We could see the older woman depicted as Spirit. We could view her as representing familial or ancestral members who left behind a legacy that we hope to follow. We could see it as our more mature, experienced selves, guiding the youthful spark within us that never leaves us.
So there’s a guiding force. I can see that in this reading. The guiding force is Spirit, or the inspirational legacies of those who have preceded us. And gradually, as we move ahead with that guidance and inspiration, we become our own guides.
In your recent past, we start out with the Temperance card, which shows a sunflower–and I always think of that as being you. And then around it, everything is growing in a balanced, harmonious way. However, in this card there is ample space for negative or positive things to grow. And maybe that’s what we’re worried about.
Because in the next card we’re crying, “It’s all so overwhelming. I don’t know if I can do it.” It’s the Nine of Scrolls, and the figure grips one clear thought among the many spilled about her.
And her dreams seem like the Five of Spirals—as though they’re being coughed out by an under-the-weather, fire-breathing dragon. And it looks as though those dreams are going to hit the ground and snuff out.
And so we were in this great balanced state, and then we started mentally spiraling downward. Or if we didn’t, we were worried that we would, because we’ve done that in the past.
Then we have the Nine of Spirals. And whenever I see this card, I think of the winds of change–clearing out the old so we can begin again. And what are we beginning again? Well the spirals indicate our dreams, our desires, what we want most. And so Spirit is saying, “Here they come!”
Then we go into your current energy. And it’s really a continuation. We worried we wouldn’t be able to handle whatever came our way. But then the winds of change came. We started feeling uplifted.
And the next card is Judgment. And Spirit says, “We’ve got you. We’ve got you. You don’t have to worry. Keep going on your current path, and we will help. And the whole world will open up to you.”
And you have what you need with the World card. You give and receive love. Your big dream is blooming. You have enough material sustenance. Best of all, you are thinking clearly.
And we maintain that state. We’re back in Nine of Wands (Spirals) energy. You’re jumping for joy. You feel light-hearted. Your dreams surround you and they start to sprout. And you’re in a good energy to build on.
And so that is that sage energy in the oracle card.
Now, Spirit did give you one card here that is not a warning, but it is advice. You’ve come a long way, and Spirit is advising with a Devil card to remember that the bad habits you once had may return if you are not mindful. There may have been a drinking problem, but for most people the bad habit was seeing only the bleakest of possibilities. Spirit suggests you see promise rather than doom and gloom.
You have three nines in this reading. Nine-nine-nine, that means something is coming to an end. But this looks like a good reading, so that something could be a habit of self-torture. Or it could be that this period of building produces something useful. We are attaining something that we wanted.
And so this is a very positive reading. I know it seems a little mixed, but the energy is really powerful and strong. And you are maintaining a sense of balance.
