Aquarius May 16 – Weighty Dreams

Hello Aquarius and welcome back to TenPaths Tarot.

Spirit was very talkative today and wanted to give you a lot of cards, so let’s dive right in.

The first card was the oracle card, Vitality. And so we will be talking about ways to bring that feeling of energy and strength back into your life. Something happened in your recent past, and it could have been in your head or it could have been something physical. Only you know.

Starting at the bottom right-hand corner of the spread, we have the Eight of Spirals, with spirals representing your desires and dreams. And for a while it felt like they all might come true all at once. It was overwhelming, Everything just came toward you at one time. It was a little scary. You are the deer, and you are running through this field that is going to become ablaze.

But that didn’t really happen. Instead, all of those dreams and desires came up empty; and your thoughts about them have sort of dried up as well. The fox in the Three of Scrolls is clever and resourceful, but right now he’s not feeling like himself.

The Six of Spirals jumped out of the deck at the same time, and this is again about our desires and dreams. But it takes into consideration the give and take necessary for dreams to come true.

And so let’s see how we progress from there. What you really want is to be The Empress; Mother Earth; Gaia. You want all of this life flowing around you, and you want to feel part of that life—like you’re really giving to it.

The Two of Scrolls jumped out with the Gaia card at the same time. And it indicates that you’ve had to make a decision. Alternatively, you felt forward progress was either/or. You must give all of yourself to reach your goal, or working toward your dream was pointless. And giving yourself completely wasn’t possible.

And so now we are at the end of your recent past. And we have the Celtic Owl, which, in other decks, translates to The Hanged Man. The Hanged Man is someone who is pausing to look at things from a different perspective, like an owl. The owl will sit in the tree and wait for opportunity to come by. And when serendipity makes its appearance, the owl will shift perspectives several times before moving from the tree.

Now let’s go into your current energy. Your current energy is the Wheel of Fortune. And here we have angels and positive spirits. And that indicates positive guidance; positive potential. We also have various devils and Hades-looking imagery. That indicates our bad habits. And when I say bad habits, I’m not talking about something as extreme as a drug addiction or something like that. It could be. But it is more likely those habits that keep us stuck. And those habits may have been keeping us stuck, since the man’s eyes are tightly closed.

Now the good thing with the Wheel of Fortune, as opposed to The Tower, is that we have some control. We can spin that Wheel of Fortune; and it may not land in a good place, but then we can spin it again. The idea is to be open to what Spirit presents to you as a possibility. It doesn’t mean you have to accept every possibility. We do have free will while we’re here on earth. But if you start looking for those opportunities, then there will be expansion and celebration. That’s when the world will start opening up to you. That’s when opportunities start to bloom.

This period will be unstable. Three is a number of instability. But that is also telling you that there are changes. Instability is not always a bad thing.

And now I realize that we had the Three of Cups, the Three of Scrolls, and the six of Spirals, which is essentially more threes. Three-three-three is an angel number that indicates that you should use your creativity to start building something worthwhile.

Now, what’s worthwhile is different for different people. This reading has indicated that your worthwhile life will surround you with nature and allow you to give. You  want to give back to the world.

What has kept you from that in the past, or what you feel has been blocking you, is the Ten of Wands. This is someone who has had a lot of their dreams come true, but now those dreams feel like a fence around them. And those dreams-come-true feel like a burden that must now be maintained.

And the next card is similar in energy, and it’s the Knight of Cups. Here he’s taking more control. He’s concentrating on what he can do; how he might move forward. But again the figure is fenced in, this time by stones. This time, however, he’s at least seeing a potential for things to change. You can tell by the expression on his face; whereas previously he didn’t feel there was a way out.

The knight is someone moving forward. And the Knight of Cups indicates we do move forward in a positive direction. Cups themselves indicate our emotions and love. And so there is forward motion from this change in outlook.

And in the Nine of Cups, which jumped from the deck along with the Knight of Cups, we see that fire energy again. In the Eight of Spirals, the fire was out of control. In the Nine of Cups, the fire is still not under our control, but it seems beautiful and much less threatening. So we’re not looking at things we can’t control as being so scary any more. We’re letting things grow naturally. We are letting things be born from our love, and things are thriving.

And now we feel that life vitality in the oracle card. We feel energetic and we’re moving forward. We’re taking a chance and allowing things to progress naturally. As a result, we experience emotional and spiritual abundance. We love the things and people around us, and that love is reciprocated. Everything feels possible again.

So you are going in the right direction, Aquarius. Just keep it up.
