Hello Leo. And welcome back to TenPaths Tarot. I asked Spirit for your reading today, and it is so incredibly beautiful.
This is about someone who has been on a quest of transformation for some years, or someone who is just starting out. It could be for either.
And, because of the way Spirit gave me the cards, I am going to read it backwards today. So we’ll start with the bottom set of four cards. And the first card, or the end card, is the Three of Pentacles.
And here we have three gentlemen gathered around a fire. And the fire is doing something a little strange. It’s throwing up sparks. It has all of these different colors. And one person smiles at it and says, “Yes, I see the beauty in it.” And the others are saying, “This isn’t what we normally have. I don’t know about this.”
I think today’s message is for the one who sees the beauty in that change; in that difference; in that possibility.
And so the next card is Justice. But when I see this particular card, it’s not Spirit’s judgment upon you, although it could be Spirit’s judgment for you. Look at the beautiful music playing! But I see the person who’s acting as the judge, and that’s you, That’s you Leo. And you have listened to the gossip, or the people around you saying, “This is the way it should be,” or, “No, this is the way it should be.”
But you’re going, “It can be so much better. I’m seeing a different way. My experience has taught me there might be a different way, a better way.”
And so they keep talking, but you’re not really listening. Instead, in the background, you hear this beautiful music playing.
And what have we been taught? Well, in this message, it says we’ve been taught that, in order to have it all, to have the Ten of Pentacles, we have to be willing to be a warrior. Look at this battle-scarred warrior here. Or we have to age before our time. This child has gray hair. Or we have to hide ourselves under a mask so people don’t see any weakness we might have.
And so this is saying, this is what we’ve been taught, either through our families or our culture; things we’ve read; sometimes, things we’ve just assumed. But there’s a raven above it all, and the raven represents wisdom, and it looks ready to fly off. Well, all of this has led you to some confusion, and you’ve tried to follow that path. You’ve tried to follow what everybody said, and it has left you in this state of The Devil. Now, the devil doesn’t mean the spiritual devil that’s out to get you. No, the devil is within us. It’s our bad habits. And so, in order to please others, or because of what we thought or believed was the way to go, we’ve traveled the wrong way. Experience has taught us this direction isn’t working.
But in the interim, trying to do what we couldn’t and live in a way we couldn’t, we developed some bad habits. And at some point, Leo, you became aware of those bad habits, and you started healing yourself. And you started thinking of the world as the hive, the community at large; not just this little community that you had to please. Instead you considered what was good for everyone.
And we see the beehive in the next card. That is people working together with one goal in mind. And I think in this case it’s that community of people who want to improve themselves, not just financially. They want to reach balance. “Yes, I’m here on earth, but I also have an emotional side, and I have a spiritual side, and I want to honor all of that.” And by blending these, that is when we have true community.
And the figure is almost in a position of prayer. And so while she’s thinking about all of this, she is in a state of healing.
Next we have The Sojourner, or the King of Mirrors in this case. So we have some one who is traveling. And that’s what we’re doing. We’re traveling to a better state of being.
And the King of Mirrors–the mirrors, represents love and emotion. And this gentleman is moving forward. But look, is he riding those emotions [illustrated as a horse]? Is he letting them go? No, he’s guiding them. He has gradually learned to control that energy and to lead it in a more constructive way.
And next is The Pilgrim. Pilgrims generally refer to travelers seeking some type of spiritual goal. And that’s what you have here, with the pilgrim and the scrolls. The scrolls represent our thoughts. And so the page is going out with clear thinking. It’s not that she hasn’t thought a lot. To reach her current state, look at all of this baggage she has had to acquire. Now as she travels, I suspect that some of that baggage will be lost along the way. And that’s okay. That’s what happens when we become seekers. We start sorting out what is truly important from what we thought was important.
So you have two traveler cards here. So you are on a path, and both of these people look as though they know where they are going. And the end goal, the ultimate destination, will be The World. You go through this beautiful, fantastic, spiritual, emotional transformation.
And when we have The World card, we’re thinking about how it relates to everything; how one thing relates to another and we’re all interconnected. And you have gone through this spiritual journey, or you’re going on it currently. You will reach this point where you see the interconnectedness of everything, if you haven’t already. And that is when you transform.
And the last card I’m reading was the first one Spirit provided. It was the oracle card. I asked for this card to set the tone for this reading. I asked Spirit, “How do you want me to read this series of cards?” And it was Culmination of Vision.
So this is your vision, to reach this emotional and spiritual understanding. And you will. This is Spirit’s assurance that you will. You are well on your way.
On this card, we have a woman sitting down. That’s where you started. Then she rises up, and then she starts growing and expanding into all of this wisdom. And that’s when that transformation takes place with the butterflies. And so now she can look out and see it. all. She’s changed forever. She can’t go back to thinking that all of this minutia is so important.
I hope you don’t go back to the bad habits. Occasionally you may. but this journey that you are on is so powerful, it’s not going to release you, even if you backtrack for a bit. That strength is in you now, and it will carry you forward. And a temporary backstep will become just a broken branch that will be replaced by something better and stronger.
And so this was a fantastic message today. This is beautiful energy. And Spirit just wants to assure you, you are going in the right direction.
I almost want to cry now. It’s so beautiful. But it’s time for me to go. I look forward to seeing you again.
