Hello Aries. Thank you for joining me today.
I asked Spirit for two sets of four cards, which Spirit gave me. I also asked for an oracle card in order to determine the theme of the reading. The oracle card was “balance.”
So let’s begin.
The first thing I see when I look at the first set of cards is that this set is bookended by two opposing energies. We have the Hierophant, which is the ultimate “we’re going to do things the same way for the rest of our lives—in fact for all of eternity,” and then we have The Chariot. And The Chariot wants to move ahead at all costs. There are even wings on the chariot, indicating not only spiritual guidance, but a desire to go faster than is humanly possible.
So we have opposing energies, and this energy is reiterated by the black and white horses on The Chariot. We’re seeing things as being black or white, when most things in life tend to be on the gray side. Rarely are things so cut and dry.
The second card that sprang from the deck is The Devil. But the devil isn’t something to be afraid of. It represents our bad habits—the bad habits that keep us tied down. When we release those habits, we start to grow and explore and discover.
And that’s what the knight in the next card is afraid to do. He has his dreams. He has his aspirations. He has that fiery energy. But he’s afraid to release the reins of his steed, which is in the form of a writhing dragon. If he let’s the dream run, it won’t be under his control anymore. Then what will happen? Well, he might learn more. He might find better ways of thinking and better ways of doing things. He might discover more constructive ways of releasing his emotions.
