Hello Scorpio, and welcome back to TenPaths tarot.
The first card today is the Three of Cups. This card usually indicates celebration.
And now we have The Sun, a very auspicious card.
So we have two promising cards so far.
Next is the Judgment card, which can be promising or not, depending on how you look at it. On this card, there are people calling up to Spirit for a positive judgment.
The fourth card is the Three of Wands. Three can indicate a instability, although with the Three of Cups we have celebration.
So we have two threes book-ending the very auspicious Sun card and the powerful Judgment card.
I would love to tell you what this all means, but I’m going to need more clarification, so I will immediately draw more cards.
Next is the Six of Cups, with six indicating stability. So we have stable communication with other people.
Next we have the Page of Pentacles. Pentacles refers to the material things in life that we need in order to thrive. And the white cloak wrapping the page represents Spirit’s assurance. So Spirit is guiding us towards attaining the material things we need.
The Sun indicates that attainment is assuredly be possible.
Next we have the Four of Cups, in which a man sulks among the cups he’s acquired. So the Judgment card may not indicate Spirit’s judgment upon you, but your own self-judgment.
Everything seems great. You’ve go The Sun, and things to celebrate. People around you love you. Things are on an even keel. But it’s almost as though you’re judging yourself.
The man in the Four of Cups is framed by seahorses—desires. But he doesn’t look at them. He seems to say, I don’t know if any of this is worthwhile. Is it worth all of the effort?”
Meanwhile, Spirit offers still more.
“Nah, no thanks. I’ve got my dreams that aren’t going anywhere because I’m not going to nourish them with the water from these cups.”
And I’m getting the impression that you’re turning down Spirit’s blessings because you don’t believe you’re deserving. You’re being self-judgmental, and I’m not sure why; when people seem to love you.
And then we have The Devil. But this card doesn’t mean the devil per se, Instead it represents our bad habits that keep us tied to unhealthy patterns.
Looking back at the Page of Pentacles, there was happiness at one time. The page is going out into the world with a dream of earning his keep. But that hasn’t quite panned out as he thought, and his emotions have run dry. He may be falling into a habit of despair, instead of a habit of looking forward; of seeing potential. He expects more despair rather than celebration, and that’s become a habit.
