Hello Pisces, and welcome to TenPaths Tarot.
Today we have the Three of Pentacles, the Knight of Swords, the King of Pentacles, and the Five of Cups.
Pentacles refers to the material things we need in our lives to thrive. In the Three of Pentacles, individuals are working on constructing a magnificent building. Two people are looking at the plans for the building, but one wants to go straight ahead and start putting nails in the wall. Three is a sign of instability, so there may be a difference of opinion here as to how to proceed.
But then, with the Knight of Swords, a decision is made. We have Spirit’s guidance and are moving forward. This knight is ready to move forward, much like the gentleman hammering nails. But this time, the movement is less nitpicky and the goal is something grander. We have decided to stop worrying about insignificant things.
And then there is transformation. This person becomes the King of Pentacles. They have everything they need here on earth. They’re quite comfortable, but a little discontented, as you can see in the figure’s expression.
With the Five of Cups, we have a number representing instability, reiterating that feeling of discontentedness. We have a stable life, but are looking towards something more spiritual. The cups indicate love; intuition; giving. And so this person now wants to combine life’s tangible needs with the intangible.
