Gemini 2024 04 08

Hello Gemini, and welcome to TenPaths Tarot.

The first card out of the deck is the Six of Cups. Cups is the sign of love and emotion; six is a sign of balance. This card shows balanced forward motion.

The next card is The Lovers, and then we have the Eight of Cups. Then two additional cards jump out, the Ace of Wands and the Knight of Wands.

The Six of Cups represents home and forward growth at a steady pace, in cooperation with others. We have love, and everything is going pretty well.

And then we have The Lovers. Spirit watches over these two people who are working together until they’re not. The two people are Adam and Eve, so there could be minor conversations about how to move forward. I say minor because, whatever is decided, Spirit is watching over them.

When I think of Adam and Eve, I also think about the desire for knowledge; the desire to know what is beyond.

And the same message is seen in the Eight of Cups. This person has plenty of love. He understands his emotions, yet he’s still seeking more. He wants to be one with Spirit, and is considering leaving his cups behind. Or maybe he is thinking about taking the cups with him; adding them to what he already feels and knows.

The Ace of Wands represents our deepest desire, and the salamander shown represents magic; a potential for this desire to grow—almost without our realizing it.

But the figure in the Knight of Wants is uncertain as to whether he can manage this desire; this dream. The dream, represented by the dragon he rides, wants to charge ahead. But the knight is afraid to release the reins, for fear his charger will just take off and leave him behind.

He’s a little afraid of success, and he may be using the cups, the people or things he loves, as an excuse not to move. After all, he has the settled home in the Six of Cups, and moving in a different direction may require some discussion.

Additional cards were drawn. To listen to the complete reading, listen to the YouTube video, Gemini 2024 04 08.
