Cancer 2024 04 08

Hello Cancer, and welcome to TenPaths tarot.

The first card to flip out of the deck is the Six of Cups. Cups represents our emotions as well as love. The number six indicates stability and cooperation.

The next card is the Knight of Wands. Wands represents our deepest desires; our dreams.

And then we have the King of Pentacles and the King of Cups.

With the Six of Cups, we can see that our home life is good. The people are cooperating with one another. Whatever is cultivated grows.

The Knight of Wands, who rides a rearing dragon, wants to move forward, but he isn’t sure he wants to release the reins of the eager beast. He seems afraid to move forward. Because this card is next to the Six of Cups, I wonder if he is afraid to move because his home life is so stable. His dream might disrupt his home life.

We then have the King of Pentacles, and he doesn’t look very happy, even though he has abundance. He has been successful. When we see pentacles, we’re talking about the material things here on Earth that we need in order to thrive. This king has his castle, but looks discontented. I’m wondering if he is now ready to move forward with his plans.

With the King of Cups, there is plenty of love; plenty of positive emotion. But this king is feeling that there is more here on Earth that he’d like to have. And his dream might be a way to get there. There is a tangle of ropes over his head, so his thoughts and emotions are in a jumble. This slows his forward movement. The king holds a wand, again a sign of desire. Perhaps he is debating how much he will have to sacrifice to attain his dream; this is all very confusing for him.
