Libra 2024 04 02

Hello Libra.

The first card out of the deck is the Eight of Cups. The next is the Four of Cups. Then we have The Star and the High Priestess.

The first two cards seem to go together. They’re all cups, which represent love and the essence of life. Love is actually the essence of Spirit. And the cups hold water, without which everything on Earth would perish.

The Eight of Cups indicates that this individual has plenty of love, but they are on a spiritual quest. And they are thinking that perhaps they need to leave the cups they have and follow a new path; follow Spirit’s guidance.

The second card is the Four of Cups, and the person depicted here appears to be on no quest whatsoever, neither earthly nor spiritual. He has some cups. He has some bounty. Has some love. But he’s given up on searching for more. Unlike the first card.

So there is debate. Do I or do I not go on a quest.

And in the Four of Cups, we see the hand of Spirit, trying to hand the person an additional cup. Spirit is saying, “I have so much more to offer you; so much more! Take the cup.” But instead, the person looks away. He doesn’t even notice the additional blessing. He used to have dreams, as indicated the seahorse or dragon heads surrounding him. But he hasn’t been nourishing them, so they’ve dried up and withered.

Then we have The Star, which indicates Spirit’s guidance. And there is a lot of plenty in this card. A lot of water.

Do we want to go on the quest and follow The Star, or do we want to sit where we are and stagnate?

And then we have the High Priestess, and she has a book. She is doing some research. Should she stay where she is or move forward?

The High Priestess tends to be a rule-follower, so she may be questioning whether the direction she wants to go is the correct path. But there is no perfect path. The path meanders, and we will have multiple highs and lows throughout life, if we’re lucky enough to live a long life.
