Hello Leo.
As we go along, you may hear me refer to Spirit as “he” or “she”. However, Spirit does not have a gender. Likewise, there are pictures of men and women in the tarot cards, and I will be saying “he” or “she”, but tarot has no gender. If you are a woman, I may say “he”, and it may still apply to you. And if you are a man, I may say “she”, and again it still applies.
Today’s message may pertain to you or it may not. Take what you can use and leave the rest behind. Just as there are many cars on a highway, there are many people on a path. Not everyone is on the same highway or the same path but, at any one time, there are many going in the same direction. So if this reading does not resonate with you, try a different reader. Your reading is out there.
Keep in mind that Spirit guides gently and does not command. It’s still up to you to use your knowledge, experiences, and intuition to determine your own direction. Spirit guides, but you still have free will.
The first card is The Hermit. The second is the King of Wands. Then we have the Knight of Cups and the Seven of Swords.
Both The Hermit and the King of Wands appear to be in a meditative state. The Hermit is up on his mountain, in isolation.
The King of Wands also seems to be in a state of contemplation. There are two dragons, but the one he sits against has no arms. Perhaps it is something that he’s slain in the past. But this same dragon looks very relaxed, so perhaps dismembering this particular dragon allowed The King to relax or progress.
There are other dragons in the background. The dragon can symbolize magic, as does the salamander ascending the throne, or it can symbolize fiery dreams; intense passions. So the King of Wands has had dreams come true. He’s had magic in his life. And you would think he’s completely content, but here’s a fiery dragon alongside him. There’s still a passion there, so it might be that this king is trying to decide whether to stay in a calm state or go for a new dream; look for more magic in the world.
He’s already experienced magic. He’s already experienced success. Should he let things remain as they are, or go forward toward a new dream; a new passion.
Here we have the Knight of Cups. Cups can represent love, but the cups can also represent abundance, since they represent water, the life source for all of us (along with the sun).
And this knight is being careful not to spill what is in the cup. Yet he wants to move forward.
And his horse is in the shape of a seahorse, again representing dreams; magic. So he looks like he’s ready to move on with this new passion. His cup is already filled with abundance, but he is ready to move on to something else.
So what stands in his way? His own thoughts, as indicated by the Seven of Swords. Of course, there were injuries in the past. You can see the person in this card is the same person in two other cards. But what he might want to do is take the best of what he’s learned and leave the rest behind. So take what you’ve learned. You don’t have to discard everything and start from scratch. Then move forward with Spirit’s guidance.
Three additional sets of cards were drawn. To listen to the extended reading, click on this link to the reading for Leo 2024 04 02.
